Frequently Asked Questions
1) I’m starting law school—what should I do now to prepare?
Cursory review of all of your first year subjects, learn how you’ll be graded, build a weekly workflow, and practice exam-style thinking early. Law School Boot Camp teaches the methods that matter most—briefing, outlining, and exam execution—so you start 1L with a system, not guesswork.

2) What are the biggest risks in 1L?
Not knowing the meaning of any critical legal terms to the first year, falling behind on reading, waiting too long to outline, and not practicing exams until it’s late. 1L is a major transition, so having a plan from day one matters.

3) What is Law School Boot Camp?
A short, practical program designed to help incoming 1Ls start strong by learning the core skills, subjects that will be taught the first year (e.g., contracts, torts, property, civil procedure, criminal law, legal writing) and systems law school demands—before day one.

4) Who is it for? Do I need to attend a specific law school?
Incoming 1L students. The skills taught apply across all US law schools.
5) What does the curriculum cover?
Core 1L classes plus the “how” of law school: case reading/briefing, outlining, balancing, and exam execution.
6) Will this teach me how to take law school exams?
Yes—students learn what professors reward and practice the skills that translate into stronger exam performance (issue spotting, structure, time management).
7) Is it online or in person?
Both. You can attend virtually, or there is an in-person option in South Florida. The dates for each are:

8) How long is the program, and how much work is there outside class?
Choose the format that fits your schedule: online is 3 hours/day for two weeks, and in-person is one week for 7-8 hours/day). Outside work is minimal and purposeful—short practice assignments to reinforce key skills and fun assignments to understand application of the areas of law taught the first year.
9) Will I get feedback on my work?
Yes. Students receive feedback on briefs, outlines, and mini exam-style practice so they learn what “good” looks like early.
10) How big are the classes?
6 students per cohort. Small by design to support participation, practice, and feedback.
11) Who teaches the program?
A 25-year seasoned attorney leads the program whose successful law practice included all core subjects of the 1L year, and teaches methods students can apply immediately in 1L.
12) I’m a parent—how do I help without hovering?
Reduce noise, not add pressure: ask about process rather than grades. A skills program can help, but the student has to want it for it to work.
13) How is Law School Boot Camp different from other 1L prep programs?
Most options are self-study. Law School Boot Camp is interactive and emphasizes practice + feedback in a small-group setting.
14) What technology do I need for the online option?
Reliable internet, a computer (preferred), and a quiet place to participate.
15) How much does it cost and how do I register?
Tuition is $1390, with a 10% early bird discount for those who register before March 31, 2026. You can register through the Register Now button below.
16) What is your refund/cancellation policy?
Refund terms are provided at registration. If you have questions about your situation, contact us.
17) What makes Wendy Stein Fulton, Esq. uniquely qualified to teach this course?
Ms. Stein Fulton is a 25-year civil trial and appellate attorney who built this boot camp originally to support her own children during law school because Ms. Stein Fulton not only attended law school, but her law practice included all 1L subject areas. Both of Ms. Stein Fulton’s children are practicing litigators in Florida today. Her approach is grounded in how lawyers analyze problems under pressure.
