For 25 years, I was a trial and appellate attorney — AV Preeminent-rated by Martindale-Hubbell. I built my career litigating some of the most complex and high-stakes matters imaginable. One highlight of my career was serving as one of the main architects of Champlain Towers Collapse Litigation settlement, where the Judge in open court personally recognized my efforts in helping to achieve settlement of more than $1B.

 

​​​​​​​​​​​​During my professional work in the legal field, I also hold my favorite title — Mom. When my twins decided to attend law school, I wanted to give them every advantage possible. Drawing on my 25 years as a trial and appellate attorney, I created Law School Boot Camp — a comprehensive preparation program designed to help incoming law students start strong. The course began as a personal project: I developed PowerPoint lectures for every first-year subject and designed lessons on law school success fundamentals, including case briefing, outlining, and exam strategies. I also worked on life skills, such as maintaining well-being and budgeting during law school. The result? My kids entered law school confident, capable, and a step ahead of their peers. They have since graduated with their respective dream jobs as attorneys.

 

I expanded that same program to help other future law students begin their legal education prepared, empowered, and without fear.
